NO SUGAR!!!!...ha

Katie, Heather, and I decided to do a no sugar contest the week before Halloween. The losers had to buy the winner a pair of earrings...yeah buddy! I have tried this a couple of times and failed badly. Last time I did it Heather said that I stopped laughing at day three...haha (I don't think I was that bad...haha...maybe) But this time was going to be different! I was feeling good about it! I wanted to win! We wrote up a contract and everyone signed it! We were ready! The first 5 days I was feeling great (still laughing) and then the 6th day came along. I was still feeling so good...well that afternoon I went shooting with some friends and they brought some cream sodas and root beers to drink. Without even thinking I took one of those cream sodas and drank it all! A little later I went for a root beer (I was really thirsty...Haha) I couldn't get the lid open so I asked Heather to open it up for me. She looked at me and said, "Megs, you know this has sugar in it right?" CRAP! I totally forgot! I was so bummed that I lost the contest when I was feeling and doing so good!
I was pretty bummed so I decided to shoot that root beer bottle (after I drank it of course...) I had Tyson go and set up a couple bottles so that I could shoot one. It took him a long time but finally he got some set up. I was just about to shoot one bottle...the gun was up and I was aiming at the bottle when suddenly all of the bottles except one shattered! I was confused for a second then I saw Jesse down the line with a shotgun(the kind that fire a lot of bullets). What a punk! Haha Turns out he wasn't even going for the bottles, there was a pumpkin close by, but he shattered all of the bottles but one after Tyson took forever setting them up! After the initial shock and slight disappointment it was really really funny...okay, it was funny the whole time! Haha All was good because there was one bottle left, just for me! I aimed with the gun and shattered it! I was so excited that I nailed it! Woohoo! (don't worry...the picture is an after-the-shot picture...I was not shooting at the ground!)

What have I done this semester...besides school...

This semester has been great! I made a lot of great friends and learned a couple new things. In school I took some great classes...but not interesting enough to blog about. :)
One thing that I learned was how to shoot a gun. Everyone...watch out! Hahaha it was surprisingly really fun! My stance was really funny the first time because I bent backwards almost in-half...how was I supposed to know?! Haha Don't worry, I think I was much better the second and third time! :)

Okay...you are peas...with black eyes....Oh! The Black Eyed Peas!!!! :)

Oh yes...our costume was fantastic! :) Haha all the props go to Heather, it was her brilliant idea. Katie, Heather, and I dressed up like peas and then put black all around our eyes (black eyes). We were the Black Eyed Peas! (the singing group).
It was awesome because no one knew what we were and so they would come up to us and try and guess...this is exactly how it sounded:
Them: What are you guys?
Us: Guess...we'll give you a hint...we are dressed like a vegetable...
Them: Hmmm....what is a green vegetable....hmm....oh peas in a pod!
Us: Okay...yes...we are peas...with what?(Then we pointed to our black eyes)
Them: Uh...black eyes?.....oh! Black eyes!!!...You guys are the Black Eyed Peas!!! Haha...that is so awesome. Wow that's good! Haha

Yep....it never got old. :)
Our other roommate, Kristen, was a stoplight...yet another brilliant costume! What a fun time! :)

I spy with my little eye......Meg's checkbook!!!!!

Okay....so I have been looking and looking for my checkbook for an entire week. I looked through all of my little boxes....through my desk.....through the pile of books under my desk (I know classy....I don't have a bookcase...) Haha....I even looked under my bed....in my drawers......through every purse that I own....seriously everywhere!! I was so confused because I was convinced that my checkbook never left my desk. I didn't want to lose it so I kept it in that area. Well finally this morning I was sitting on my floor and I went to grab something under my bed for a roommate when I saw my checkbook just chillin' on the bar under my desk. Haha How did that even happen?!!!! :) Hahaha it made me laughed...a lot. :) Haha

Here I go again....

So...I am going to start up blogging again. I love looking back at my stories from Romania so I decided it would be good to write little stories that happen to me now so that I can look back and laugh at myself later. :) Hahaha

Goodbye Romania!

I finally finished my blog from my Romanian trip! :)
The posts in this blog are about the sightseeing that I did and a couple of funny stories. I did more than just sightseeing in Romania, but this blog is dedicated to the extra adventures that I had! :)
I don't know how to flip my blog, but if you start on the next post then you will see my adventure backwards....which is fine, but if you are a little confused it is because the oldest post is where my journey begins! :) This semester in Romania was AMAZING!!!! :)

I didn't know we were staying in London!....haha

We flew out of Romania on the 16th of April and headed over to London to make a connecting flight to Houston TX and then Provo Utah. Well, it turned out that our flight to London and our flight from London were too close to each other...and we had to go through customs, and the London Heathrow Airport is huge-o, and our flight to London was delayed(there wasn't an open international dock for the plane when we got to London and so we had to get off the plane out the back door and take a bus to customs...kinda cool)...so we missed our flight. I was really sad at first because after planning to be home on the 16th for 3 1/2 months and then finding out that I would not be home that day was like...I can't think of a good comparison...but you get the picture. :)

Well, it took a while, but then we decided that we were stuck in London for the day...wait a minute, Stuck in London?...Yeah buddy! So we decided to go and see the city!
We rode the underground tube, got a hotel, saw St. Paul's Cathedral, Shakespeare's Globe, London's Bridge (is falling down), the London Eye, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, awesome sand sculptures, a double decker bus, a red telephone booth, some awesome wooden rocking things, a sweet skate park, ate some roasted nuts, and even tried fish and chips! :)
What started out as not the best morning turned into (to quote Liz) "A delightful Inconvenience". :) It was a great day!!!!! A wonderful way to finish my European adventures! :)
